Fire and Gas Detection System

Addressable & Conventional Fire Detection System

The addressable fire alarm system comprises one or more circuits with detectors connected in parallel, andeach detector has a unique identification (address) on the circuit. When the conditions for an alarm signal are satisfied at the detector, an alarm signal is transmitted via the circuit to the fire indicator panel.
In an addressable system, each detector has the ability to identify itself and its current status. Over the years, the level of sophistication of detectors and systems has greatly increased. This includes collecting more information about the conditions surrounding each detector including the many bi-products of combustion and other environmental factors.

In a Conventional Fire Alarm System, a number of call points and detectors are wired to the Fire Alarm Control Panel in Zones. A Zone is a circuit and typically one would wire a circuit per floor or fire compartment. The Fire Alarm Control Panel has a number of Zone Lamps. The reason for having Zones is to give a rough idea as to where a fire has occurred. The accuracy of knowing where a fire has started is controlled by the number of Zones a Control Panel has and the number of circuits that have been wired within the building. The Control Panel is wired to a minimum of two sounder circuits which could contain bells, electronic sounders or other audible devices. Each circuit has an end of line device which is used for monitoring purposes.

Fixed Gas Detection & Alarm System

We offer world-class quality and unparalleled customer service with our full range of industrial gas detection systems. Our industrial gas detectors, wireless gas sensors, gas analyzers, and monitors are equipped to handle a variety of toxic and combustible gases.

We have detectors specifically designed to monitor Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), various combustible gases and toxic gases, as well as detectors that monitor and sense oxygen deficiencies in ambient air.

Equipped with the most current microprocessor technology, our gas detectors and gas controllers are available in convenient wall and rack mount styles. Our 4, 8, and 8 to 16 channel multi-channel gas sensors, along with our 6, 12, and 8 to 16 channel single channel modular gas controllers are accurate, dependable, and easy to program and read.
